Product Description
Product features: The PBZ type flat plate centrifuge is a filter type closed directly connected centrifuge with manual upper discharge and intermittent operation. Suitable for separating suspensions containing solid particles ≥ 0.01 millimeters. Solid particles can be in the form of granules, crystals, or fibers, and can also be used for dehydration of finished items (such as yarn bundles, textiles, etc.). This machine has the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation, adjustable operation procedures according to requirements, sufficient washing of filter residue, less damage to solid particles, and strong adaptability. The characteristic of this model is that the motor is directly connected, without dust pollution caused by belt transmission, and the machine has a small external size. Centrifuge principle: When a suspension containing small particles is stationary, the suspended particles gradually sink due to the effect of the gravity field. The heavier the particle, the faster it sinks, and conversely, particles with lower density than liquids will float up. The speed at which particles move in a gravity field is related to their size, shape, and density, as well as the strength of the gravity field and the viscosity of the liquid. Particles the size of red blood cells, with a diameter of several micrometers, can be observed to settle under normal gravity. In addition, there is also diffusion phenomenon when substances settle in the medium. Diffusion is unconditional. Diffusion is inversely proportional to the mass of a substance, with smaller particles leading to more severe diffusion. And settlement is relative, conditional, and requires external forces to move. Settlement is directly proportional to the weight of an object, with larger particles settling faster. For particles smaller than a few micrometers, such as viruses or proteins, they form colloidal or semi colloidal states in solution, and the sedimentation process cannot be observed solely by gravity. Because the smaller the particle, the slower it settles, while the more severe the diffusion phenomenon. So it is necessary to use a centrifuge to generate strong centrifugal force in order to force these particles to overcome diffusion and produce settling motion. Centrifuge is the use of the powerful centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the centrifuge rotor to accelerate the settling speed of particles in the liquid and separate substances with different settling coefficients and buoyancy densities from the sample.
